First, Congratulations to all the teams on another wonderful season! Our end of season banquet is right around the corner. For the second year, our celebration will be held at the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theater. It is a fun night for the girls to get dressed up and be recognized for their efforts and achievements from the season.  We will be having a silent auction with gift baskets donated by each team. In the past we have had some very nice baskets which have generated a good amount of money to help in paying for the teams going to Nationals. Each team is requested to donate a gift basket. Example of previous baskets donated are: Beach theme, BBQ theme, Lottery, Movie, Theater tickets, Sporting event tickets, Golf outings, etc… Please bring your team basket to the banquet.

The deadline for response is May 14^th (for 5/23) and June 1^st  (for 6/11).  These are hard deadlines so register NOW!  The cost for parents and guests is $32.00; Players and Coaches are FREE!

The 16 Nova team started out there first tournament on a very good note. We played 4 games and split a set each with two teams and then lost one game. The girls nonetheless played every game to the end and did an amazing job defeating the team that was leading the pool in our last game against Renaissance, who they blew away 25-22 and 25-23. With this win the girls were in a three way tie for second place, but miss the playoffs by the final percentages based on score difference. Paige Monte, the libero was the player of the day, as she showed agility and dominance in the back-row. Vivian Zhong, the setter and right side hitter showed true leadership on the court. The team played great and was pleased with the effort they put out. GO 16 NOVA.
