First, Congratulations to all the teams on another wonderful season! Our end of season banquet is right around the corner. For the second year, our celebration will be held at the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theater. It is a fun night for the girls to get dressed up and be recognized for their efforts and achievements from the season.  We will be having a silent auction with gift baskets donated by each team. In the past we have had some very nice baskets which have generated a good amount of money to help in paying for the teams going to Nationals. Each team is requested to donate a gift basket. Example of previous baskets donated are: Beach theme, BBQ theme, Lottery, Movie, Theater tickets, Sporting event tickets, Golf outings, etc… Please bring your team basket to the banquet.

The deadline for response is May 14^th (for 5/23) and June 1^st  (for 6/11).  These are hard deadlines so register NOW!  The cost for parents and guests is $32.00; Players and Coaches are FREE!

We went into the tournament in hopes that we'll continue making progress as a team! In our first match we started off right by beating ECVC Hurricanes 25-14 and 25-18. We continued this momentum into our next match beating PITT Elite in two; 25-20 and 25-16. In the last match of our first day the fatigue started to set in...we lost our first game 16-25 verse Evolution. We reignited the flame and won the match (25-21,15-9)!

This victorious day carried over to our Sunday morning playing. We defeated Hampton Roads 25-13,21-25,16-14. As the day continued we beat Club SYR 25-23 and 25-20! Again the pattern of fatigue set in, we lost to Nebraska Elite 16-25 and 14-25. We were so disappointed that we couldn't sustain our drive, we had low spirits going into our final day, losing to Impact 20-25 and 12-25.  We finished the tournament losing the semifinal match of the Silver Bracket.

All in all this was one of our best and most successful tournaments and we're so proud in how we all played personally and as a team. Can't wait to see what future tournaments will bring!
