Do you have any advice to offer parents? Getting your kids involved in team sports is a gift you give them for life. Volleyball is a game that instills confidence, commitment, teamwork, strategic thinking and so much more. Once they’re in sports, parents can never be too positive when supporting them. After a great game or a rough match, players are looking for positivity and understanding and support. Nothing beats a hug from mom and dad.
Kids don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.
"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand." -Vince Lombardi
Hannah Boyd brought Downstate t-shirts and volleyballs to underprivileged children in Haiti and taught them the game of volleyball on her Mission Haiti 2016 Trip.
